“You’re too expensive” is something that I hear a lot.

This often arises during sales calls, where I am asked what the price point will be for them to join my 1:1 career coaching program.

I won’t lie; I’m not cheap.

And people say so.

But here’s the thing - you’re not paying me just for a particular service.

You’re paying for me to save you TIME.

And you’re paying for me to solve your problem.

The problem that each of my clients faces is this: I’m in a prestigious job that I hate, and I have no idea how to get out of this place.

And I get it.

I felt just like that while working at BlackRock.

For 7 years, it felt like the years were just passing me by.

I wasn’t good at the job, but I was being compensated well and couldn’t see how my existing skills could possibly translate into any other career path.

So I stayed and stayed and stayed until I couldn’t.

Then I transitioned into a fashion startup and tried to launch my own VC-backed startup before eventually becoming a career coach/entrepreneur.

I’ve learned a lot of lessons in the past decade, and that wealth of knowledge and experience combined with my corporate background is what I offer to each of my clients.

I’m sure you can figure out a way to land your dream job.

But is that the best use of your time?

Do you have 10 years to waste?

Or would you rather pay for an expert to be there to guide you and tell you the exact steps that many other high-flying professionals have taken before, as well as be on hand to guide you as you test drive those potential careers, resign and negotiate for a salary that reflects your true worth?

Only you can decide whether your time is valuable enough to invest in a coach.

Don’t lose sight of what truly matters.
