The biggest investment that we can make is in ourselves.

As opposed to:

❌ The stock market.

❌ Real estate.

❌ Bitcoin! 😅

To be honest, I used to be terrified of investing in myself. It seemed like a “waste” because there was no way to quantify what the ROI was.

But several years ago, out of sheer desperation, I decided to take the plunge.

I started with a business coach.

The reason for that first investment was that I’d been struggling with my fledgling business for several months and couldn’t land a single client.

That coach wasn’t cheap (it was more than my entire month’s paycheck at that point!) but to my shock, the ROI was immediate.

I landed my first client that very month, then my second.

Before I knew it, the new clients that I’d landed (after implementing the advice that my business coach gave me) had more than paid for the amount that I’d paid to the coach.

That success taught me the importance of investing in myself, because where else can you potentially 100x your return in 3 years?

At the end of the day, time is a limited and declining resource.

It is also our most precious asset.

Rather than hoarding every penny, I’ve learned one of the biggest leverage in life is capital

And using it to invest in ourselves, and outsource things that take too much time / don’t play to our strengths.

After all, the reason we invest is to make our money work for us, right?

And where better to invest than to take a bet on yourself?

We have no control over the outcome of the companies we invest in.

But we have 100% control over the investment in ourselves.

At the end of the day, investing is a probability game. And betting on myself has been the best odds.

So my question to you is this: Do you invest in yourself?

What’s holding you back?
