Singapore is the birthplace of my reinvention.

I shared about my love/hate relationship with Singapore a few days before, but a part of me will always love Singapore for being the place I was able to reinvent myself

Growing up in Hong Kong, I was the model Asian child

l got good grades and graduated from a top university with a prestigious corporate job

But I left that perfect career to chart an entirely different path for myself.

And that choice brought me to sunny Singapore

In Singapore, I restarted my life

I wasn’t just the Jen who was:

✅ Living out the conventional Asian dream
✅ Making everyone around her proud
✅ Achieving someone else’s goals

In Singapore, I knew no one. And no one knew me.

And for the first time, I had the freedom to dictate and define who I wanted to be.

I became the Jen who
⭐ was more courageous, willing to take big leaps & follow her interests.
⭐ pursued her dream and joined a fashion startup
⭐ started a career podcast and got good at cold pitching to guests to be on the show
⭐ learned to care less about what others thought and started showing up on social media sharing career-related tips and content
⭐ learned to fight imposter syndrome
⭐ built a career coaching business with no prior experience

And for that, I’m so thankful for leaving my comfort zone

And having the space to reinvent and discover myself

And today, I help high achievers do the same

I help you reinvent yourself and build a career that’s truly perfect for you.

Send me a DM. I’ve helped clients from public healthcare, law firms, and companies like P&G and Google find their perfect-for-you careers.

I would love to help you find yours too.
