It's been a tough time with all the recent layoffs

And I've had many come to me in the recent months seeking advice

As a #careercoach, I want to offer my insights on the issue and some advice for those who have been recently affected.

(1) A layoff does not define you or your worth as a professional.

- Companies often make tough decisions based on business needs
- And sometimes that means letting go of valuable employees
- It is NOT a reflection of your skills or performance.

(2) Take time to process your emotions and reflect on your next steps.

- This may include updating your #resume and LinkedIn profile,
- #Networking with other professionals in your industry,
- Exploring new job #opportunities.
- You may even consider starting your own business or #freelancing.

Use this time to figure out who you are and what you want from your career

And not let life pass you by anymore

Ask yourself:
🌟 What aspects of your career have you been proud of?
🀐 What aspects are lacking?
πŸ”„ What more would you want?

(3) Don't be afraid to seek help and support from others

- Talk to friends, family, and colleagues who can provide emotional support and offer job leads or referrals.
- And if you're looking for someone to help you in this journey, feel free to book a complimentary discovery call with me.

I’d love to see how I can help. ✨

Remember, a layoff may feel like the end of one chapter, but it can also be the beginning of a new and exciting opportunity.

🌟 #Staypositive, stay motivated, and keep pushing forward. You got this! πŸ’ͺ
