I worked at BlackRock for ~7 years.

I had the best colleagues, great pay, and opportunities to work in New York, Hong Kong and London.

Then I was promoted to Vice President.

And I quit my job. 😅

Because for a while, I had felt lost.

I had the paper-perfect career but something was not quite right.

And finally, I decided it was time: I needed to just take the plunge.

To be honest? It has not been all roses.

☹️ I took a 50%+ pay cut.
☹️ Felt lost (a lot).
☹️ And had to start from the bottom.

But I loved it.

And I uncovered what I was truly passionate about: Helping others make the same transition that I had.

Because this career-pivoting journey?

It’s:
🔥 Tough;
🔥 Uncharted; and
🔥 Sometimes, we can’t see ourselves as clearly as another person does.

I’ve had many people (e.g. from Google, UBS, Stripe) asking me to help them make that big, scary career pivot: To build alternative careers that weren’t always paper-perfect but would be perfect for them.

I even started my own podcast, Ctrl Alt Career, and became a career coach on this very topic!

So here’s my question to you:

Do you feel the need to make a change?
