Unpopular Opinion: You do NOT need to apply for x1000000 jobs to land your dream role.

Because guess what?

It’s NOT a numbers game.

And it pays to be contrarian.

So DON’T:

❌ Apply for every job you think is interesting

❌ Blast the same resume to all those Linkedin Easy Apply jobs you’ve been saving

❌ Spam the inboxes of every HR recruiter in your connections

Instead: Find the job you really want and work your damnedest to get that job

At the end of the day, you only need one job.

When I was looking for internships in sales and trading, it seemed like everyone else was already getting interviews and multiple offers

Me?

I barely had anything

Then I focused on just one bank and did EVERYTHING I could to submit a personalised application.
