Since getting pregnant, I’ve been introduced to mummy support groups

And can I just say? They are the BEST things ever.

Especially for a first-time mum like myself where we all get to:
✨ Ask the simplest questions
And receive real-world examples and answers from other, more experienced mums

✨ Share tips and advice on everything
From breastfeeding to what to do when your child is choking on dust

✨ Exchange links and contacts
Whether it’s postnatal exercise classes, childcare services or massage therapy – there will be a service provider these mums know of and will share about in the group

Which makes me think: Why don’t we have the same for careers?

I had a LOT of questions when I just started my career:

💭 How can I climb the corporate ladder?
💭 Where can I go to meet people in the industry I’m interested in?
💭 How does one actually send a cold email or LinkedIn message – especially if I can’t message them on LinkedIn?
💭 Is it normal to not feel happier about my job even though everyone tells me this is as good as it gets?
💭 If I’m considering a career change, how do I go about doing it?

I had SO many questions and was lost in so many ways.

It took me years to figure out most of these and more.

It would have been so helpful to have had a mummy support group like this but for careers.

And that’s why I want to introduce you guys to my Ctrl Alt Career Community.

It’s something I’ve been building over the past couple of years with my clients.

There, they inspire each other to aim for more by sharing their career wins.

But it’s also a safe space to ask any “dumb” questions and seek advice when they face struggles and setbacks.

We can learn so much from one another and I’d love to see this community grow.

So if you’re looking to join me and others from Shopee, P&G, BlackRock, EY and more contact me “COMMUNITY”. I’d love to see you inside.
