Let’s be real: Career transitions can be so damn hard.
When I left my job at BlackRock after 7 years, I had a complete meltdown.
I know that career change is almost all I talk about and don’t get me wrong – I still believe in it so much.
It’s even more necessary today when there are things like the advent of tech and AI and the shift from the traditional thinking that you must only have one job to non-linear, multi-hyphenated career paths
But I won’t lie and say that it’s a smooth journey.
The reality is that career transitions WILL cause confusion, uncertainty, and constant self-doubt.
So t if you want to take that jump, know that it’s normal to feel scared.
It’s normal to feel unsure and question all your decisions.
I was there.
Hell, I went through that twice.
And I almost gave up at one point because it was just so hard and staying put and comfortable was too easy.
The initial part of my journey was tough because I tried to forge my path alone.
Yes, I had my family and friends (and I love them!)
But they were often biased, had their own agenda, or just didn’t quite understand what I was going through.
It wasn’t until I found the right career mentor along the way that I was able to make these leaps for myself.
He helped me see past my blind spots, addressed my limiting beliefs and gave me the confidence I needed to take that leap of faith.
And because it was such a life-changing experience for me, I want to help YOU figure it out too.
Because I know how lonely and challenging it can be along the way.
Career changes aren’t easy, but they don’t have to be all that terrifying.
Let me help you make your career change journey better.
I’ve helped others from Shopee, KPMG, DBS Bank, public healthcare and multiple law firms make their transitions as smooth as possible.
