I’m not your typical fashionista. I don’t:
❌Pour over fashion magazines
❌ Follow fashion trends
❌Buy clothes more than once a year
But I still love fashion.
My mother instilled that love in me. She’s the most fashionable lady I know!
And while working as a VP at BlackRock, I wanted to dress in a way that fit the corporate bill but wasn’t in the boring penguin suit. 🐧
I. Found. Nothing.
So I began a fashion blog.
If I’m honest, that blog came out of a place of desperation.
I was miserable every day at work, crunching numbers and coding
And the blog became my creative outlet. A place to feel good about myself.
The blog went nowhere - very few people ever saw it.
But it proved instrumental in me finding my next job: at a sustainable fashion startup based out of Singapore.
With this blog, I could prove my love of fashion and also the thoughts I had around sustainability and entrepreneurship.
And that role was pivotal in me doing what I do now: helping others find their dream careers through my career coaching programs.

Not everyone was born knowing what their dream career is. But we all have some kind of interest in something - whether it’s baking, fashion or even writing.
So if you feel miserable or stuck in your job, start tapping into the thing that makes you light up:
🔥 If you love art, start an IG account & create a portfolio
🔥 If you love music, buy a simple condenser mic & publish your recordings on YouTube & IG too
🔥 If you love writing, start sharing your thoughts on LinkedIn, Twitter, Medium, Substack and/or a Wix blog.
Many people have found their dream career because they leaned into their interests and kept going down the rabbit hole.
But you have to make the first move.
Your dream career isn’t going to drop out of the sky.
So are you ready to breathe new life into your career?
PS: I’m a career coach who has helped multiple corporate clients switch from Google, Amazon, Microsoft and other Big Tech companies to a career that they love. If you’re looking for your dream career, shoot me a DM! I’d love to help.
