“I make more money than you.”

An arrogant statement perhaps, but…

It’s a statement that I can safely make.

To the Jennifer Ong of 2012, who was just starting at BlackRock and convinced that the only route to career success and financial security was to stay in a prestigious asset manager.

That Jennifer Ong of the corporate world used to love her 6-figure salary.

The fancy hotels she stayed in, and the opportunity to work in places like New York, Hong Kong and London.

And she was especially thrilled when she got promoted to VP and was given a 40% pay bump.

40%!

That was a really huge sum!

I remember how thrilled that Jennifer Ong was.

It felt like there was no way she would achieve even half of that success if she left.

But she did.

Fast forward to a decade later, and I can safely say that the Jennifer Ong of 2012 knew nothing about the world.

The 40% pay bump that seemed so huge was actually so little.

She hadn’t even accounted for inflation adjustments!

And it was still just 40%.

Whereas as an entrepreneur, no such constraints exist.

The sky's the limit.

You could earn $1k this month and $100k next month.

You can earn a pittance this year and 7x your revenue in 1 year’s time (this happened to me last year).

Sure, you trade in job security for that wide earning potential, but it’s a worthwhile trade.

Because job security is a myth nowadays.

Everyone is on the chopping board and no job is truly safe.

Whereas for me?

The nature of my job as an entrepreneur is to not have a secure and consistent income, which has pushed me to be really proactive and really learn how to make my own money.

Even if my business dies today and I lose all my clients, I know I will survive.

Because I now have the skills to make money - on my own terms, without relying on a company to pay me a salary.

And that life skill has given me the most precious gift of all: Freedom.

So are you looking for freedom from the chains of corporate life?

The opportunity to take the leap and accept a job that is perfect for you?

Contact me FREEDOM  and we’ll get started!
