๐”๐ง๐ฉ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐š๐ซ ๐“๐ซ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก: Itโ€™s ok to be fired from your job.

Some of the most successful people in the world have been fired:

๐Ÿคฏ Tony Fernandes was fired from his first job as a waiter in a London restaurant.

He is now the CEO of AirAsia - one of the most successful public-listed budget airline companies in the region.

๐Ÿคฏ Hillary Clinton was fired from her role at a fishery - scooping out salmon guts!

She later became the US Secretary of State & New York Senator.

๐Ÿคฏ Steve Jobs was publicly fired from Apple - the company he co-founded! He left to co-found NeXT & Pixar Animation Studios.

A decade later, he returned to Apple to begin the era of the iPod, iPhone and iPad!

And we havenโ€™t even gotten to Mike Bloomberg, Oprah Winfrey, Mark Cuban, Colonel Sanders (yes, of KFC!), Jerry Seinfield, Howard Stern etc.

Social media is full of humble brag and glorious accolades, but so many of those achievements were paved in blood, sweat, tears and public humiliation.

No one has it all figured out.

They just make it seem that way.

Which is why itโ€™s ok to be fired: the important thing is that you learn from it, pick yourself up, and try, try again.

Understanding yourself and the kind of job that best aligns with your strengths will make all the difference.

Because once you know your strengths, you can find the job that best fits you.

The key ingredient that ties some of the most successful people together is failure + grit + daring to dream.

It doesnโ€™t matter where you are in your career - itโ€™s never too late to dream ๐Ÿคฉ.

So do you dare to dream & go after the career you want most?
