🖼️ Picture this: You KNOW your current job is not where you want to be.

You’re sending out resumes, saving LinkedIn jobs, and refining your cover letters but…

🤷‍♀️ Nothing ever happens.

You:
☹️ Are overwhelmed by the stress and uncertainty of the process.

☹️ Worry about starting over, building new relationships, and mastering new skills.

☹️ Are all, with no one to guide or support you.

Guess what.

🤝 You aren’t alone.

💼 As a #careercoach, I've seen firsthand the toll that job searching can take on people's mental health.

🔄 Switching jobs can be one of the most stressful, lonely, and frustrating experiences in your professional life.

💆‍♀️ This is why you must (+ can!) prioritize self-care and well-being during this time.

💤 Firstly take care of yourself.

🥗 Get enough sleep, eat healthy foods.

🏋️‍♀️ Make time for exercise or relaxation activities that you enjoy.

Yes, there IS time to do that.

Make that time, no matter how short, for your sake.

🛑 Secondly, don't forget to take breaks.

It's easy to get caught up in the search and feel like you need to be constantly applying.

But it's important to give yourself time to rest and recharge.

🧠 Meditation and mindfulness practices can also be helpful for managing stress and anxiety during the job search.

Take a few minutes each day to focus on your breath and clear your mind.

These few minutes may not seem like much but they really are life-changing.

🗣️ Finally, don't be afraid to seek support from friends, family, or a professional.

💬 Talk through your job search frustrations and concerns with someone who understands.

Chances are, they were probably in the same boat as you!

Remember, your mental health and well-being are just as important as finding the right job, if not more.

Prioritize self-care during the job search and you'll be better equipped to handle the ups and downs that come with it.

💪 You got this! 💪
