Many of us are unhappy with our jobs.

It’s all in the numbers.

According to Gallup, every single day:
60% of people are emotionally detached from work
50% are stressed at their jobs
41% are anxious or worried
22% as sad and 18% are angry

And in every 5 workers, 1 would describe themselves as “miserable”.

These numbers are a downer.

But hey, that other group of employees exist too.

The ones who are emotionally attached, positively stressed, not anxious nor worried, and free from sadness, anger, and misery.

I’ve spent years coaching people to move from the first group of unhappy employees to fulfilled and satisfied workers.

And the secret separating these two groups of people is this:

They take action.

They don’t settle for feeling just "okay". For mediocrity.

It’s not that they don’t have fears, but they choose to push forward despite it.
