It’s been a year since I incorporated my business

And one of the most valuable lessons I've learned as an entrepreneur is to invest in people.

Before, I believed that I could handle every aspect of my work on my own.

I can do it. So why outsource it?

Plus for something as simple as creating content, it’s probably easier for me to do it than it is for me to teach someone else how to do it.

But damn, I was wrong

As I got further into content creation, I realized just how tough it was to create good quality content.

And a  lot more goes on behind-the-scenes than you might suspect.

From filming myself to video editing to post-scheduling and analyzing analytics, it takes a lot of effort and time!

And the truth is that I was pushing myself so hard, I nearly burnt out.

There were moments when I just gave up, ghosted the platform and simply couldn’t create anymore.

That’s when it hit me: if I truly want to scale my business, I cannot possibly do everything myself.

If I want to run a 7-figure business, I need to start acting like a 7-figure business owner.

And would they hesitate to invest in talent?

So, I decided to invest in talented individuals to support me.

And it was probably one of the best decisions I made in both my business and my sanity.

Now, I have a team of video editors, content strategists, personal assistants, and analysts who make up my content team. 📈

And because I invested in the right people, I soon saw my accounts soaring to levels I was never able to reach alone 📈

(What was it again? If you want to go fast, go alone, if you want to go far, go as a team)

That also allowed me to focus on what truly matters:

✅ Creating quality content
✅ Connecting with my audience authentically; and
✅ Focusing on helping my clients pivot into their dream careers.

TL;DR Don’t hold back from outsourcing for fear of cost.

It’s called investing for a reason.

Your time is your most valuable resource.

Embrace collaboration and find a team that complements your skills – who knows where your business will be in time! 🤝
