Hello, lurker.

I know you’re there. 😉

I’ve been creating content for a while now and it always surprises me when I get private DMs from people who tell me that they’ve been following me for a while (sometimes years!).

Despite never seeing them engaging with any of my posts.

When I ask why, I’m told that they find my content helpful but that they don’t feel able to respond - they’re worried that their boss might see it and realise that they’re contemplating a career change.

And I get it!

The unspoken assumption is real (whether true or not) that if you become more active on LinkedIn, you’re more likely to be looking to switch jobs or make some big career move.

So even if your job doesn’t feel right and you might find content that you really resonate with, it’s better to lurk.

That said, let me share what it’s like from my end: I still find it scary to be so vulnerable and open up about my journey - the mistakes I’ve made and the regrets that I have.

And it’s also hard to know if my content is resonating.

Sometimes, I feel like a broken record.

Often, I wonder if I’m not just stating the obvious.

Then I get a DM telling me how a particular post really inspired them and those doubts fade away… temporarily!

So if you’ve been enjoying my content so far - where I talk about how to pivot from a paper-perfect career to finding a job that’s perfect for you - I’d love it if you could message me LOVE.

And let me know what other content you’d like to see from me.

P/S: Let’s be friends. 😉
